Q: Why should I choose Dubia roaches over crickets or mealworms?
A: Dubia roaches are higher in protein, lower in fat, and don’t smell or die off as quickly as crickets. They’re quieter, easier to store, and provide superior nutrition for reptiles.

Q: Can Dubia roaches climb or fly?
A: No — Dubia roaches cannot climb smooth surfaces and they don’t fly. They’re easy to keep contained in plastic tubs with smooth sides.

Q: Do Dubia roaches smell?
A: Unlike crickets, Dubia roaches have almost no odor when kept clean and properly fed.

📦 Ordering & Shipping

Q: How do you ship live insects?
A: All orders are packed with egg crate, food, and hydration to keep roaches safe in transit. Heat or cool packs are added during extreme temperatures.

Q: What days do you ship?
A: We ship Monday through Wednesday only to avoid postal delays. Orders placed after Wednesday noon ship the following Monday.

Q: Do you ship outside the U.S.?
A: At this time, we only ship within the continental United States.

Q: How do I store Dubia roaches when they arrive?
A: Keep them in a plastic tub with smooth sides, egg crate for climbing space, and proper ventilation. Provide dry food (like oats or roach chow) and a moisture source (carrots, oranges, or water crystals).

Q: Will they breed if I keep them?
A: Only adult roaches breed. If you order smaller sizes, they won’t reproduce. Even adults breed slowly and require warm temps (85–95°F).

Q: How long do they live?
A: Dubia roaches can live up to a year, making them easy to keep on hand for feedings.

Q: What happens if my roaches arrive dead?
A: If our Live Arrival Guarantee conditions are met (heat/cool pack purchased when required, and someone is home to receive the package), we’ll replace or credit your order. Please send photos within 2 hours of delivery.

Q: Are USPS delays covered?
A: Unfortunately no — shipping delays are beyond our control. We recommend Express shipping during holidays or extreme weather.
